I just wanted to wish the family the best, and to let you know that Rob will always be a favorite of mine. He used to send out tips from his myspace. I always looked forward to hearing from him.

The world lost a great person, and the impact is felt all over.

I will never understand the reason behind someone so young being taken from us.

I can only believe that as God walked through the garden of life. He noticed a rose that caught His eye, and wanted that rose to be with Him through out eternity. Rob was a beautiful person, and he will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have been blessed to have known Robert since the age of 5. As children, we were inseparable. We did everything together such as playing sports, bike riding, swimming,ect.ect. He had even came on our family vacation trip to Myrtle Beach.
As teenagers, our friendship had continued. We had boxed together at East River Gym for a number of years. We had purchased a dual membership to Aquarias Health Spa. This is where Robert got his first taste of weight training. He became addicted to it. Robert had even lived with me and my family for a couple of years.
Robert was always a very competitve and determined person. Weather it was baseball, hockey, skateboarding, hackey sacking, boxing, bodybuilding, ect. Robert would never fail to prove that he was indeed the best.
Roberts life was a success story. All of us that had been bleesed to have known him have also been inspired by him in one way or another. He has inspired me to live my life to the fullest, and that nothing is impossible. Acheive everything that you can and have fun doing it. Life is too short and you never know if god will say that this is your time.
My heart goes out Cindy,Barb, Heather,Chris,Barb,Lori, and all of the Sager Family. I am so sorry for your loss. Please do not dwell on his death, but celebrate his life as he would want you to.
Robert, although we have had our differences, you were and still are my best friend. You are the only true friend that I have ever had. You were a great person. A loving and carring husband, brother, son, uncle, and friend. You will be missed so deeply by all of us that knew you. The memories that you have given me will never be forgotten. Your spirit we always be with me.
I love you Big Rob!

My first weekend of March was shaken with the discovery of the passing of Rob; how was this possible? We never met although I followed his career with intense interest and certainty that with the talents he displayed, he would achieve some great things as his life progressed.

I can hardly presume how blessed his family and friends were in having him in their lives but I can relate to the great void that comes from the passing of one so young. I have shed many tears and even now I’m having difficulty seeing to type this message of sympathy. I’m hard pressed to explain my connection with this man but I think that I am not alone when I say that Rob was an inspiration in my life.

The night of my discovery of this grim fact had me falling asleep in sadness; Rob was in my prayers and later in my dreams. It is challenging to recall all the details of a dream encounter but it is a healing experience that comes to those who greave in loving concern for a soul after a tragic passing. We each have our lives to live and a unique destiny to achieve before a soul is released to return to God.

In the grief of loss, there is little comfort in the knowledge that the human soul is an eternal creation and that loved ones will find one another again in the afterlife. I also know that the departed do not loose concern for the living as their new life unfolds in the next level. Know that Love is the key to communion and intension makes everything possible!

I know that all the words and wisdom imparted here can not fill the void of this great loss but I want to express my sincere condolences to Rob’s Wife, Parents, Relatives and Friends whom are in my prayers and thoughts throughout this difficult time.

Rob was a person that if you knew, you would never forget. Rob would never turn down a friend in need and always returned favors. As a friend, I watched him work hard and achieve his goals in life. Just sitting around or going places, he made everyone laugh with his comments. You will be remembered forever and I will always bring up the "good times" when around the old crew. I've had you in my prayers for for awhile now, but now I'll pray a little harder for you. See you when I get there rockin' some Nike Air Maxx's! Later bro!!!

To Robert "the great" and the close people around him:
To people that know robert well, would all agree that he is a hard worker, and he could accomplish any goal that he put his mind to..he overcame adversity and became MORE than successful. He has accomplished more in such a short time, than most people can do in 3 lifetimes! As a friend I can say that Robert would always be there to help me if I had trouble or needed a favor. Rob was and is a GREAT MAN, FRIEND,HUSBAND,and Genuine person!
Robert you will be missed by many but NEVER forgotton! Please find a nice gym in heaven to train at... I will be sure to join you again as a training partner there in the future!!!!

Your friend forever,
Eric

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of such a great young man. I met Rob several years ago, and he was one of the nicest people I've ever known. On behalf of Cole Companies International, I would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest sympathy to the Sager family. Please remember that things that spring forth from the earth return to the earth, and heaven born things fly away to their native seat of rest.

I knew Rob through Sports Supplement industry. Met him on occasion at the trade shows, the firsttime with Lori in Las Vegas at a Mr. O expo there. Spoke with him about athletic sponsorship. He always came across as a genuine, humble man. So sadden by this news. Know that my thoughts and prayers are Lori and the families. May he rest in peace. He will be well remembered.
