Dear MaryAnn and family,
We were saddened to learn of Ed's death. He was a trusted friend and guide to us at Community CRC. As a newly ordained pastor I leaned on Ed's wisdom and grace as a church leader. Ed and Rose and family were gracious and welcoming to us as a family, and to all who visited our small but vital congregation.
May you be comforted with the strong comfort of our risen Lord, and may Ed's love for Christ and the church thrive in all whom he loved.

Family, I am so sorry to hear about Ed's
recent passing. I personally knew Ed and his family from his days in Toledo from 1969 until he moved to Murrietta, CA. Ed was one of the finest men I ever
knew, and his family are equally fine people. It was my pleasure to have known him, and to have him in my life as
a friend and father figure. The Schaap family is wonderful, and Ed was the best.

Dear Schaap family: We want to express our sympathy to all of you in the loss of your dear Father and Husband. We have such fond memories of your family from the 'Toledo' days. We really looked up to Ed - a kind, compassionate man. We share your loss, but rejoice too, knowing his faith is now sight.

Dear MaryAnn & Family - We are so sorry for the loss of your loved one.
We were with you at the CR church in Lambertville, MI in the early 1970's.
May you feel God's presence and comfort with you during these days.
Sincerely, Jim and Kay Kloostra
