Margaret Bickford Obituary
Margaret
Margaret Bickford, 95, of Curtice, OH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at her home. She was born on July 11, 1919, in Cabin Creek, WV to Thomas and Stella Meeks. Margaret worked many years as a glass selector at Libbey Glass and helped out with the Jerusalem Twp. Food Pantry. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening, painting, reading and bowling.
Margaret is survived by her son, Charles (Phyllis) Bickford; grandchildren, Brian (Jill) Bickford, Brad (Kristina) Bickford, Corkey Bickford, Beth Ann Bickford and Jason (Marge) Bickford; several great-grandchildren, and her half-sister, Carol (Ray) Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; son, Fred; grandson, Jimmy, and her sister, Norma Phlegar.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., Oregon, on Monday, January 19, 2015, from 5-7 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. A private burial will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
