Adeline "Addie"

Adeline "Addie" Parker, age 95, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Otterbein Care and Rehabilitation Center in Perrysburg. She was born September 17, 1919, to John and Apolonia (Babaszak) Rafalski in Toledo, Ohio.

Addie enjoyed cooking, especially during the holidays. She was known for her delicious chocolate pies which were requested by all the grandkids for every family function. Addie also loved baseball and was a dedicated fan of the Atlanta Braves. When she wasn't watching a good game of baseball, you could find her out on the golf course or at the neighborhood bowling alley with friends. Most importantly, Addie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, cherishing the time she spent with her family and her granddogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Harry S. Parker. Addie is survived by her children, Jerome (Laurene) Parker of Toledo, Darlene (Lee) Anderson of Shelby Township, Michigan and Janis Krieger of Sylvania; grandchildren, Lauren Parker, Michael Parker, Brad Krieger, Todd Krieger and Scott Anderson and step-grandchildren, Vince Marino and Josh Marino.

A Private Graveside Service will be in Calvary Cemetery, Toledo.

Those wishing to make a Memorial Contribution are asked to consider the Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Arrangements handled by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900).
