I haven’t forgotten. Miss you friend. This was published recently. It’s a “haibun,” a form of Japanese poetry combing haiku and prose.

I remember you Rob. In that ridiculous sailor cap. On that little boat of yours. A sunny day, an endless day, floating on the Maumee. The two of us smoking and singing off-key. The old songs. Poetry for a day, too soon an eulogy. I remember you Rob.

Dear Sitzenstock Family,
We are out of town and regret not being able to attend Rob's memorial. Rob's youthful years with smiles and gentle kindness remain fond memories for us. We hope he has a great tractor to ride through eternity. Our sincere sympathy. Judy and Lurley

Rob was one of the funniest people I knew and always made sure everyone was having fun. He will be missed but has left a lasting legacy with everyone who interacted with him. RIP

Mr. and Mrs. Sitz and entire family, my deepest condolences. As part of Rob's freshman dorm posse, he made that time a very great part of my life! His presence will be severely missed!!

A little piece of heaven has left us. Rob was such a fun loving, happy go lucky little one. I had the pleasure of being a part of the "Sitzenstock" growing up years. I will cherish these memories forever. I pray that the amazing times from the past, help carry you through this difficult time. A star shines brighter in the sky tonight, and I know he will watch over us all. Rest in peace Rob
