Linda Sotelo
Linda Sotelo Castro, 65, of Point Place, passed away in her home on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Linda was born on July 9, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas, to Raul and Pauline (Hernandez) Sotelo Sr. She worked at day care centers in the Toledo area as a teacher's aide. She attended mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family,
especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 43 years,
Julian; sons, Martin (Shawna), Justin and Sylvester (Paige) Castro; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Raul Sotelo Jr.; sister, Jesusa Duarte and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary service at 3 on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Jasin Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St. Services will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home on Thursday, May 5, 2016 with Fr. David Cirata officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Tributes in Linda's memory may be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
