Nichole Tsapranis

Nichole Konstantinos Maria Tsapranis, age 29, of Rossford, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 22, 2017. She was born on December 18, 1987 in Oregon, Ohio to Konstantinos and Melody (Swartzlander) Tsapranis. Nikki attended All Saints Catholic Elementary School, 2 years at St. Ursula High School and graduated in 2007 from the Toledo School for the Arts. Nikki enjoyed cooking for others, dancing and playing her cello and violin. She was a member of Alcoholic's Anonymous. Nikki was a talented and loving daughter who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her parents; brothers, Alex, James and Ioannis; grandparents, Grover and Janet Swartzlander. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and cousins, both in the United States and Greece.

Nikki was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ioannis and Alexandra Tsapranis and Douglas and Joyce Meek.

Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 2 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church where the family will greet visitors beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Ft. Meigs Cemetery in Perrysburg. The family asks that in memory of their beloved daughter Nikki, they please celebrate her life with sobriety. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nikki's memory may be directed to any children's charity of choice.

Nikki was such a magetic person. She was the type of friend that even if you hadn't seen her for a while made you feel as though no time had passed. She was loving, caring, accepting and never judged. She was determined and driven. I was so lucky to have known her. The world needs more poeple like Nikki and she will be deeply missed. I am so proud of all that she accomplished and overcame. My thoughts are with her family.

God be with you in this time of mourning and remember her for all of the memories you have of her. I know these are words and don't mean much, but i say them with all sincerity and a heavy heart. I haven't known Niki, that's what we called her at work, long but she was ambitious and had a life ahead of her but somehow god had different plans so now I am sure she is an angel filling out the part of life she couldn't do here on earth without her wings, fly high Niki.

Please know that you are not alone in your grief. I loved having Nikki as a student at TSA. She added so much to the class. I have stories about things she said that were so funny that I have them told over and over again. Seeing her ride her bike around town always made me smile. I am so very sorry for your loss.

i will miss nikki coming over to my apartment when i would go grocery shopping and she would cook up these amazing concoctions all the time for me and other friends. she had a great smile and she also liked to take care of me after i had my neck surgery. very thoughtful.
