Roger was our friend. He was a wealth of knowledge. He introduced us to all of his beloved children. He was so proud of all of his children and would beam with enthusiasm when he shared stories of their accomplishments, visits, memories, travels......We dined together, stayed at his beautiful waterfront home in Parry Sound, boated, laughed, shared, ventured.......Roger taught us how to make sauerkraut soup! Roger was an inspiration, a fighter, always positive and supportive, kind, an ear to bend. He always had a smile and a big hug. We are deeply saddened to learn that we will not share time together again on this planet earth. Much Love to ALL of Rogers family. Until we meet again dear friend. Max & Tam xo

Fond memories from our days on the bay with you and my brother! The two of you out there showing the beauty of the region to all the newbies! You left tour mark on Georgian Bay and the Muskoka region!

What to say. I’m very sad. Roger was a presence in my life for almost 50 years - my brother in law. He was funny, generous and always willing to help. Kent was his fishing buddy in our young years - when Kent passed Roger helped me sell the cottage. While I lived in Barrie he would often invite me for coffee or lunch when he was down for a shopping trip. I’m sorry another era has passed. Muskoka without Roger is hard to imagine. Gonna miss you Roger.
