Devoted Grandfather to Aaron (Leslie), Rachel, Josh (Bailey), Ben (Clare), Daniel (Juli), Jesse, Orlee-Rose (Sean), Shira (Adam), Yona, Miya, and Jaxen and Great grandfather to Robbie, Matthew, Sophie, Meyer and Rose. Will be sorely missed by his brothers Gordon (Joyce) and Lou (Duka) and sister-in-law Rhoda (Bob) and all his nieces and nephews. He was born in Kitchener, Ontario in 1931 and later moved to Toronto to continue to build his business, Star Mens Shop. Harry was always the best dressed guy in the room, with a twinkle in his beautiful blue eyes and a sweet smile. He will be deeply missed by his beloved family, his work family and Kitchener, Collingwood and Florida friends. Dear Strauss family,
Joanne and I express condolences on this sad news. We know it has not been easy the last few years. Harry was a sweet, generous man. Shirley, you with Harry raised a wonderful family. Your kids followed in the same generous mode. Harry’s legacy will comfort all. Our sympathies

I grew up beside the Strauss family for the first 6 years in Waterloo. Mr. Strauss was a very caring wonderful person and also had the pleasure of doing business with Harry and Gord at Star’s Men’s wear for many many years. The last time I saw Mr. Strauss, he purchased a cube van from me after he had moved to Toronto for his business. Tremendous caring and kind man whom I have a lot of respect and admiration for, as well as his entire family. Greg & Mary Stevens

I remember Harry and Gordon Strauss with great affection. When I first moved to Kitchener to work in the '60s, they both taught me how to dress properly. I always enjoyed going to the downtown store to shop and kibbitz with the great brothers.
My condolences to Harry's family and to his brother Gordon's family. They are and were a treasure for Kitchener. Michael Ferguson

Jon & Family,

On behalf of Knotz, we would like to express our deepest condolences on the recent passing of Harry Strauss.
To say that Harry was a wonderful, funny, and charming man would be an understatement.
May he Rest In Peace and may his memory be eternal.
