Ray PETERS Obituary

After 87 years, Ray went to meet his Lord on Friday July 16, 2021 from Belvedere Heights Home for the Aged. Beloved husband of Christina, with whom he enjoyed 59 years of marriage. Proud father of Randall (Dawn) and Melaney Matheson (George). Cherished by his grandchildren Ila and Rae. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. His creativity will be remembered in his wood working. Ray loved the outdoors, being a King Scout, music by playing the trombone. Cremation has taken place. Friends were received at Torrance Funeral Home (89 Bowes St. Parry Sound) on Monday July 19, 2021 from 1 - 4 p.m. (Stage 3 allows full public visiting with mask and social distancing). Private family Service to be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Harvest Share would be appreciated by the family.
