Helen A. Lacomchik, 101, formerly of Trenton passed away on Monday January 8, 2018 at the Langhorne Gardens Nursing Home in Bucks County Pennsylvania,
Pre-deceased by her parents Stanley & Mary LisieckiWojciechowski, her husband Joseph F. Lacomchik; sisters Alexandria Wojciechowski, Frances Pazdan, Clara Wojciechowski, Catherine Szymanski and Ann Manewicz, brothers Anthony Wojciechowski, Vincent Wojciechowskiand Rev. Fr. Christian Wojciechowski.
Surviving Helen is her son Thomas & wife Kathryn Lacomchik of Levittown PA; daughter Christine Lacomchik of High Point, North Carolina; two grandchildren Matthew Lacomchik and Megan & husband Michael Kenney, four great grandchildren Michael T. Kenney, Aiden J. Kenney, Joelle G. Lacomchik and Maddox R. Lacomchik; as well as several nieces. nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Born in Philadelphia PA, Helen spent most of her life in Trenton before moving to Levittown in 2014. Helen was employed by General Motors Inland Fisher Guide Plant in Ewing Township and worked there for 23 years before retiring in 1976. Helen was the past president and vice president of St. Stanislaus Golden Agers, a member of the St. Stanislaus Altar-Rosary Society, former Trustee of St. Stanislaus Church and member of the United Auto Workers, Local 731. She was very active in all church functions, activities, carnivals and especially loved organizing the various bus, cruise and international travel trips. In 1967 she was awarded the Bishop Ahr excellence award for her loyal, voluntary and active leadership of the St. Stanislaus CYO. Helen was a dedicated life long Philadelphia Phillies fan
The funeral will be held Friday morning January 12 at 10:30am from the WINOWICZ FUNERAL HOME 308 Adeline Street Trenton. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Friday at 11:00am in the Church of the Holy Cross, Sacred Heart Parish. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery Hamilton Township. Calling hours will be Thursday Night January 11th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and again Friday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am (time of service) at the funeral home. The Family requests in lieu of flowers mass cards and spiritual bouquets be given in Helen's memory.
