John Latimer Obituary

John "Snow" Latimer, Jr. 81, of Trenton, departed this life on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at home surrounded by family.
Born in Richland, GA, Snow came to Trenton as a young boy. He was educated in the Trenton Public School System and graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1956.
Snow enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving honorably from 1956 to 1960. He was employed by C.V. Hill Refrigeration for twelve years before learning carpentry, in which he became a Master Carpenter. Thereafter, Snow was a partner at Stew and Lat's Construction and later the sole owner of Lat's Construction. In 2008, he became a partner in Gisselle Construction.
In his spare time, Snow had a love for bowling and baseball.
He was predeceased by his father, John Latimer Sr.; mother, Carrie B. Redding; daughter, Ruschell Fireall; brothers, Haywood, Willie and Marvin Latimer; sister, Annie Pack; and former wife, Juanita Latimer-Wiggins. Snow leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Regina Latimer-Anderson and Michelle McMillan; one son, Dwayne Latimer; sister, Jessy Wilson; brother, Abron Latimer; 16 grandchildren; goddaughter, Judy Johnson Gilchrist; two godsons, Darren Bolden and Leon Gilchrist; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special friends Reverend Dr. B. Charles Ripley and wife, Claudia, Faye Hass, Yvette Lewis, Mary Council, Ora Lee Williams, Debbie Richardson, Larry Williams and wife, Dot, and Sonia Benjamin.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11am at Shiloh Baptist Church, 340 Rev. S. Howard Woodson Jr Way, Trenton, NJ.
Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 9am to 11am at the church.
Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
