Robert "Bob" Lewandowski, 73, of Plum, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Marlene for 51 loving years; loving father of Rob Jr. (Melissa), Greg (Kensy) and Darla (Matthew) Abel; grandfather of Tyler, Cara, Paige, Connor, Chase, Ryann, Kaitlyn, Kullen and Jackson; dear brother of Walter, Chester, James (Marge) and Joanne (Steve) Hendrix; brother-in-law of John (Renee) Rose; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews and longtime friends, Barbara and Andrew Mangene. Bob proudly served in the Army within the audit agency during the Vietnam War. He went on to work for the U.S. General Accounting office in both Philadelphia and Pittsburgh before transferring to the Department of Energy in Pittsburgh. Bob loved to take his family to Ocean City, Md., and spend time on the beach. He treasured his family and friends and loved sports. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. There was no public visitation. Mass of Christian Burial took place at Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church. Interment followed at Plum Creek Cemetery.
