Elizabeth Menz

Elizabeth ?Betty? Menz of Alexandria, Va., died Tuesday, August 17, 2010. She was born in McKeesport, daughter of the late Mike and Elizabeth (Miklos) Mihalov and beloved wife of the late Milton Menz. Betty graduated from Clairton High School and was retired from the Army Material Command and was a member of Epiphany Byzantine Catholic Church, Annandale, Va., and St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Alexandria, Va. She was preceded in death by son Brian Menz; and brother Michael Mihalov. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Karen and Willie Williams of Alexandria, Va.; sons Kevin Menz and significant other Karen Pohorylo of Alexandria, Va., Douglas and daughter-in-law Laura Menz of Woodbridge, Va., and Stephen Menz of Daytona Beach, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law Lawrence and Ginny Mihalov of Clairton; twin sister Mary Ann Michaels of Alexandria, Va.; grandchildren Mason and Madeline; nieces Michele Pascale and significant other Marco Lanzagorta of Alexandria, Va., and Kelly and husband Tom Clements of Stella, N.C.; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her three beloved labrador retrievers, Molly, Millie and Abby. No viewing and no flowers. Funeral will be Monday, August 23, 2010, at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church, Alexandria, Va. Burial immediately following in Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, Va.
