Wendy R. Gavaghan, 51, of Murrysville, formerly Gibsonia, passed away suddenly Friday, April 16, 2021. April 11, 1970, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Carol Barrowman Salinski and the late Albert A. Salinski. She was the beloved wife of Brian F. Gavaghan; loving mother of Matthew J. Gavaghan and Luke B. Gavaghan; sister of Crista L. Salinski Woynar (John) and Kristian Moore; daughter-in-Law of Colleen Sullivan Gavaghan and the late Francis Gavaghan; sister-in-law of Mary Pat Jones (Jim), Rosanne Stevens (Robert), Kathryn Sanner (Scott) and Patrick Gavaghan (Beth); and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Wendy loved people, had countless friends and colleagues, had a fearless spirit and was a go-getter in every way. She was a big presence anywhere she went, was loved by many friends and family and was known to speak her mind, always honest with everyone. Wendy had a great sense of humor and wit, could fix anything and owned and operated a cleaning service for many years. She will be dearly missed.
