Caroline M. Kolano Obituary
Caroline M. (Revers) Kolano, 71, of North Huntingdon, passed away after a 13-year courageous battle with cancer Saturday, June 30, 2018, at her home. She was born Dec. 21, 1946, in Braddock, a daughter of the late Stanley C. and Margaret F. (Wessel) Revers. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in North Huntingdon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dolly Iovino; and a brother, Eugene Revers. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe; they adored her, and she was the best. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years, Eugene W. Kolano; three children, Kimberly Bressler and husband, Terry, of North Huntingdon, Christine Bender and husband, Scott, of Irwin, and Eugene Kolano Jr. and wife, Julie, of Irwin; seven grandchildren, Caitlyn (Justin) Skrabec, Tyler (Kendra Swinston) Bressler, Mackenna Bressler, Jacob and Zachary Bender, and Oliver and Esmae Caroline Kolano; one great-grandchild, Emerson Caroline Skrabec; three brothers, Robert, Ronald and Stanley Revers; a sister, Darlene Revers; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin. Parting prayers will be held at 9:15 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, followed at 9:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery and Mausoleum North Versailles.
