Jean Cameron Obituary
Jean (Kovac) Cameron, 90, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018. She was born Feb. 9, 1928, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Novak) Kovac, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Cameron; and sisters, Alberta Wilson and Bernadette Sedlar. Jean graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and received a master's degree from Penn State University. She was a retired elementary school teacher for Norwin School District, having taught at Scull Elementary School, and was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, North Huntingdon. She is survived by her sons, Daniel G. Cameron and his wife, Sharon, of Cherry Hill, N.J., James L. Cameron and his wife, Jeanne, of Beaver Falls, and Jeffrey A. Cameron and his wife, Sherri, of Leander, Texas; her grandchildren, Alexander (Katie) Cameron, Jessica (Evan) Dyer, Emily Cameron, and Madelyn Cameron; and a sister, Mary Kay Cox, of Pittsburgh.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 521 Main St., Irwin, 724-863-1200. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, in St. Agnes Church. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
