Jacob L. "Jibbs" Lipp, of North Huntingdon, 27 at the time of his disappearance, Dec. 16, 2012, was found Friday, Dec. 12, 2014. Jacob was born Nov. 28, 1985, in McKeesport. He was a 2004 graduate of Norwin High School. He worked as an animal washer at Poochies on Route 30, also a merchandise and replenishment team member at Joann's Fabric. Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James L. Rotharmel; and his paternal grandmother, Harriett (Stein) Lipp. He is survived by his parents, Steven and Robin Lipp; two siblings, a sister, Samantha Lipp, and a brother, Tyler Lipp; maternal grandmother, Patricia (Cottom) Rotharmel, of McKeesport; paternal grandfather, Jay L. Lipp, of Pittsburgh; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life service that is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Highland Grove United Methodist Church in McKeesport. Many, many months after being found, Jacob was finally laid to rest in a private graveside service.
