Fannie Marie Stempkowski, 93, formerly of Scottdale, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021. Fannie was born April 4, 1928, in Old Forge, the daughter of the late Angelina Catarina (Pallone) and Luigi DiNardo. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 69 years, Casimir J. Stempkowski; brothers, Carmen and Frank; and a sister, Anna. Fannie worked at Pittsburgh Screw and Bolt where she met Cas, and later, in the jewelry department of Ames Department Store. She was a former member of St. John the Baptist Church, Scottdale. Fannie enjoyed dancing with Cas, participating in several senior citizen groups in the Scottdale/Mt. Fannie will be sadly missed by her loving family, her son, Dan, his wife, Marilyn, and their children, Kelly, (husband, Jeff, and children, Lily and Ella) and son, Danny, (wife, Meredith and children, Logan and Brayden), of Winston Salem, N.C.; her son, Lou, his wife, Ginny, and their children, Emily, (husband, Matt, and son, Cody) and Lizzie, of Pittsburgh; sisters-in-law, Beatrice, Josephine and Ellen; and brothers-in-law, Eugene and Tom, along with many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Country Meadows of the South Hills and Bridges Hospice for their support and loving care.
