James E. Worrall Obituary
James "Jim" E. Worrall, 71, formerly of McKeesport, passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018. Most recently a resident of Hazel Green, Ala., he was born Aug. 8, 1947, in McKeesport.
To honor his memory and pay their respects, Jim's family is planning a memorial service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
A Marine Corps veteran, Jim proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. He retired from Redstone Arsenal, where he served as a K9 police officer for many years. Jim was a life member of the VFW Post 684 and a former member of Shriners International in Memphis, Tenn.; a member of the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. A member of the Red Stone Riders Motorcycle Club in Huntsville, Ala., Jim enjoyed taking trips on his motorcycle to visit various veteran national memorials. Surviving family members include his wife of 25 years, Nancy R. Worrall; daughters, Dena (Rick) Ciccarelli and Jayme (Bill) King; brothers, Wilfred (Pattie) Worrall, Rick (Kathy) Worrall; grandchildren, Brando, Ricco, Keira, Rachel, Lauren, Gary and Megan; and great-grandchildren, Cooper, Tucker and Noah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Martha Maser Worrall, of McKeesport; stepdaughter, Nina Calhoun Ryder; and great-grandson, Liam Royal. Family and friends will always carry Jim's memory in their hearts.
