Ronald C. Gossar, 71, of Brownstown, Mich., died Tuesday, July 12, 2016. He was born Dec. 31, 1944, in Pittsburgh, son of Clair Gossar and the late Katherine Gossar. He worked throughout his career as an electrical engineer with many companies in the steel industry. He was a military veteran, serving in the Navy and was proud member of the DeMolay, the order of the Masons. He had a love of travel, motorcycles and classic cars. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Gossar; his son, Erik (Kerri) Gossar, of Penn Hills; his daughter, Diane (Randy) Kerrigan, of Trafford; and his stepson, Steve (Deborah) Ratelle, of Hillsboro, Ore. He was the loving grandfather of Nathan, Brenda, Chris, Ryan, Jacob and Rylan. A private memorial will be held in Flat Rock, Mich., at MICHIGAN MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME (next to Michigan Memorial Park), 30895 Huron River Drive, Huron Township, 734-783-2646. His cremation will take place at "The Witness Crematory" located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Prostate Cancer Foundation.
