Sarah Laverne (Caroline) Zischkau, 88, of Penn Township, formerly of Turtle Creek, went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 15, 2018. She was born to the late August A. and Mary (Pivirotto) Caroline, and was the beloved wife of 69 years to the late Robert E. Zischkau Sr. She is survived by her sons, Robert E. Jr., of Turtle Creek, and Randy E., of Paintertown. She is also survived by her sister, Lorraine Graham (late E. Lester); and brother-in-law, Joseph A. (Eileen) Zischkau. She was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley (late Natalie) Caroline. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and -nephews. She loved to cook for family and friends. She truly enjoyed water skiing and did so with her husband well into her 70s. In her later years, she enjoyed many happy travels throughout the country with her family.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., corner of (118) Shaw and Triboro Avenues, Turtle Creek, 412-823-1950. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in First Christian Church of Turtle Creek, 201 Pine St. Everyone please meet at the church. Private interment will follow at Restland Memorial.
