David P. Mikszan, 82, of St. Barnabas in Richland, formerly of Columbia, Md., died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016. He was the husband of Kathleen Ryan Mikszan; son of the late Joseph and Josephine Bria Mikszan; brother of Anna Mae Newmaster, Donald Mixon, Carol Flickinger and the late Mary Lou Biedrzycki and Russell Mikszan; brother-in-law of Carol Becker and Thomas Ryan; his beloved Kerry; numerous nieces and nephews; and godfather to many. David was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, an electrical engineer for Westinghouse and after retirement, he attended Howard Community College, from which he received his associate's degree in art. While attending HCC, he developed a love for sculpting and became an accomplished sculptor.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at NEELY FUNERAL HOME, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Middle Road.
