Elmer G. "Boots" Kiraly, 71, of Port Vue, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2016. He was born Dec. 6, 1944, in Hays, a son of the late Elmer J. and Eleanor Kramer Kiraly. He was employed at Copperweld in Glassport until he retired. Elmer was a former volunteer fireman for Port Vue and was a co-founder of "Gerela's Gorillas". He was very devoted to his daughters and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters, Audra (Frank) Corente, of Port Vue, and Amanda (Aaron) King, of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Brittany Gouker, Salvatore and Talia Corente, Madeline, Elizabeth and Aarison King; great-grandson, Mason Gouker; sister, Patricia (Elmer) Dominick; niece, Cynthia (Joe) Parzuhoski; and his ex-wife, Loretta Stegman, of Elizabeth.
Friends will be received from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at HUNTER-EDMUNDSON-STRIFFLER FUNERAL HOME, 600 Market St., McKeesport, PA 15132, 412-678-6191. Services will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Robert Fagin officiating.
