Margaret E. "Peggy" (Jackson) Heilman, 98, of Sewickley Hills, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016. She was the loving wife of the late Russell Heilman. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Sue (John) Krul; nieces and nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Irene Thoerner, Harriet Sarver, Jean Meineke and Doris Ellis. Peggy was a life member of Little Hill United Methodist Church, a Sewickley High School graduate, Class of 1935, a founding member of Keenagers, a longtime member of the Sewickley Hills Election Board and a 60-year member of OES; she was a past matron of the former Robert C. Clarke Chapter and currently a member of Norwood Herrington Chapter. Peggy was an accomplished seamstress. Besides sewing for family and friends, she did finishing work for local needlework shops and turned many pieces of handiwork into beautiful pillows and Christmas stockings.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME INC., 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township, 412-364-4444, where a funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

I like to express my condolences to Margaret's family for their loss. It take time for grieving but find comfort in knowing that God is near to all those calling on him during this sad and difficult time
