Mildred P. Kestler, 94, of Providence Point, Scott Township, died Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016. She was the wife of the late Hal C. Kestler. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Adam Spotovich; her brothers, Sigmund Spotts and Edward Spotts; and by her sister, Lottie Gorman. She was the loving mother of Hal A. Kestler (Mary Ann); grandmother of Kathleen (Brad) Witucki, Geoff (Jourdan) Kestler and Anna Kestler; and great-grandmother of Luke Witucki, Cole Kestler and Tate Kestler. Mildred is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Mt. Lebanon, retired from Mellon Bank in 1987, was an avid golfer and loved to cook, sing and dance.
Friends are welcome 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 412-563-2800, 1650 Greentree Road, Pittsburgh (Scott Township), PA. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Mt. Lebanon.

Grandma Kestler was a great lady and a dedicated fan to the sport of basketball. Your family is in my prayers, I am so sorry for your loss.
