Sgt. 1st Class Brent A. Adams, 40, of West View, died suddenly on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, in Ramadi, Iraq. He was born April 29, 1965, in Lancaster and was an engineer for Sprint PCS and a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, 2nd Brigade, 28th Infantry Division and Theta Xi fraternity at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Beloved husband for six years of Marilyn (Kuder) Adams. Loving father of Daniel. Loving son of Barbara (John) Benard, of Columbia, Lancaster County, and William (Pamela) Adams, of Millersville, Lancaster County. Proud grandson of K. Arlene Wimer, of Lancaster County, and Dale and Pat Martin, of Hanover. Cherished brother of Melissa (Steve) Nalevanko, of York. Dear uncle and godfather of Alexandria. Dear uncle of Lily and Michael. Stepbrother of John (Lisa) Benard, of Mashpee, Mass.; Brent (Jodi) Benard, of Lebanon, Pa., and Lisa (David) Anderson, of Lancaster County. The family will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 388 Center Ave., West View. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 305 Center Ave., West View, with Pastors William Hughes and William Diehm co-officiating. Please meet at church. Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Church of Highland Cemetery, McCandless.
