Raymond M. Dombrosky, 76, of Duquesne, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, in Jefferson Hospital. Born Jan. 27, 1940, in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Frank and Helen (Makar) Dombrosky. A retired shop supervisor in Laidlaw/First Student's mechanics' garage in Rankin, Raymond was a veteran of the Army who loved to fish and was always working with his hands. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia (Miller) Dombrosky; his son, Raymond F. (Carolyn) Dombrosky, of Dormont; his grandsons, Dominic Yeager, of Duquesne, Steve (Alyssa) Sawko of Pittsburgh, Eric Dombrosky, of California, and Scott Dombrosky, of Pulaski, Tenn.; his sister, Joan Becker, of Elizabeth; his brother, Frank W. (Bobbie) Dombrosky, of Alabama; and also nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his daughter, the late Lynne (Harold) Cutshall.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until a memorial service with military honors at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, in the A.J. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 555 Fifth St., Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700). Interment will be private, at the request of the family.

Please accept my condolences for the passing of Ray. I worked with him at Laidlaw/Rankin many years ago and held Ray in high regard. I will keep Ray in my prayers.
