John R. Stoddart, 67, of Clairton, died Thursday, April 13, 2006, in V.A.M.C. 646, Aspinwall. He was born Sept. 18, 1938, in Glassport to the late John J. and Sophia E. Price Stoddart and was a retired computer support technician for Black Box Corp., Pittsburgh; formerly worked in research for J&L Steel, Carrick, and was an Army veteran who attained the rank of PFC E3 (P). Mr. Stoddart was a member of First United Methodist Church of Clairton; American Legion Daniel Keffer Post 75, Clairton; the American Model Airplane Association, and the N.R.A. and co-owner of the Northern & Southern Metallic Cartridge Co. Surviving are sister Carol Fellabaum (Austin), of Finleyville; brother Robert Stoddart (Dee), of Gardena, Calif.; nephews Chad Fellabaum (Sherri) and daughters Alyssa and Madison and Scott Robert Stoddart (Joy) and children Amber, Emily and Sean, and niece Shari Ikeda (Aaron). Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the A.J. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 555 Fifth St., Clairton, where services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Harold Dangel officiating.
