Harold Frank "Hal" Aurednik, 84, of Indiana Township, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, in John Heinz Regional Veterans Center in Aspinwall. He was born May 12, 1934, in Wilkinsburg, to Frank R. and Flora M. Patrick Aurednik, and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, serving as an Airman First Class. A barber, he was the proprietor of Hal's Gentleman's North in Fox Chapel for 55 years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed his occupation, being barber to many of the local and Pittsburgh sports, media and political personalities; flying model airplanes, and the outdoors. He was husband to his wife of 60 years, Theresa A. Messineo Aurednik; father to Joy (Robb) Anderson, of Melbourne, Fla., Jeffrey (Joyce) Aurednik, of Cambridge Springs, and Nancy Aurednik (Jeffrey Spencer), of Tarentum; grandfather to Trisha Goodman, Beth Nicole Williams (Josh Otterbeck), James Travis (Rachel) Hetrick, Thomas Spencer, John Spencer, Alexa and Brenna Aurednik; great-grandfather to Abby Goodman, Ryder Hetrick, Owen Goodman, Mary Beeb Hetrick and A.J. Robert Spencer, and brother to Robert (Beverly) Aurednik, of The Villages, Fla., and Nancy (Paul) Guss-Pugliese, of Boynton, Fla. www.RusiewiczFH.com.
