Ella F. Ray Obituary
Ella Fay (Cross) Ray, 85, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at home. She was born Nov. 12, 1933, in Irwin, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Norma E. (Ament) Cross, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond B. Ray; her daughter, Kimberly Staigvil; and siblings, Donald Cross, Charlene Kennedy, and Robert Cross. She was a longtime active member of Miller United Methodist Church, North Versailles, where she had served as president of the Women's Society and a Sunday school teacher and youth adviser. She was also a former Girl Scout leader. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Givan, of North Huntingdon; her grandchildren, Lori Fay (Louis) Pasquale, of Greensburg, Shira Rhea Dreistadt, of Irwin, and Kayla Marie Staigvil, of Pittsburgh; her great-grandsons, Brandon Charles Graft and Blake Alan Dreistadt; her great-great-grandson, Zayden; also nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Timothy Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
