Emma C. Wright, 97, of Acme, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, in the Uniontown Health Care Center. She was born April 20, 1923, in Baggeley, a daughter of the late Wilson and Carrie Suzanne Musnug Piper. Emma was a member of the Christian Life Assembly in Melcroft, and she was a big supporter of the missions. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Donetta Miller, of Vandergrift; two daughters, Margaret Glass and her husband, Dick, of Oil City, and Betty Lou Henry and her husband, Ernest, of Acme; one son, Robert Wright and his wife, Yvonne, of Beavertown, Pa.; her grandchildren, Kelly Harvey, Heidi Kifer and her husband, Scott, Juanita Burgoon and her husband, Rob, Dixie Peth and her husband, Kevin, Seth Stine and his wife, Bridget, Rachel Stine, Angela Olesko and her husband, William, Justin Henry and his wife, Garyn, Joshua Wright and Robbie Wright; 19 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Welty Piper, of Jeannette. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, the Rev. Robert Wright; twin brother, Ralph Piper; sisters, Anna Rice and Jenny Griffith; and two sons-in-law, Harold Miller and the Rev. Thomas Stine. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 406 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev.
