Emma L. Peters, 85, of Acme, died Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. She was born Aug. 21, 1935, in Dawson, a daughter of the late Norman and Olive Junk Graft. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Peters; and brothers, Glenn (Chum), James (Jig), Earl (Fat) and Tom Graft. She is survived by two sons, Russell Peters, of Scottdale, and Mark Peters, of Ruffs Dale; a daughter, Lisa Kukawa, of Acme; a granddaughter, Megan; three stepgrandchildren, Annie, Justin and Jeremy; a great-granddaughter, Madelyn; and four stepgreat-grandchildren, Morgan, D.J., Lilly and Izzy. She is also survived by a brother, Henry (Butch) Graft; and a sister, Diane Espey. Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the L.L. BARTHELS FUNERAL HOME INC., Second Street, Smithton. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Lee Smith officiating. Burial will be in Greenridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
