Lisa A. (Close) DePalma, 54, of Jeannette, passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born Sept. 16, 1966, in Greensburg. She was the widow of the late David E. DePalma; and daughter of the late W. Glenn Close and Patricia McCabe. Lisa was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School, class of '84. She enjoyed cooking and playing softball, had taken up sewing for many years, loved dressing herself up, always liked spending time with family, and was a devoted Christian. Lisa recently held a job at Shop N' Save on Main Street in Greensburg where she enjoyed talking and working with the public. She loved her customers. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a stepfather, Ron McCabe. Lisa is survived by her two daughters, Emily DePalma, of White Oak, and Christiana Koloshinksy (Andrew), of Jeannette; a significant other, James Artman, of Jeannette; three sisters, Cheri McCormick, of Greensburg, Rhonda McCabe, of Grapeville, and Kimberly Close, of Derry; three brothers, Alan Close, of Greensburg, Andrew Close (Deb), of Trafford, and Jason Close (Stacy), of Grove City; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Lisa's life Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, at Christian Life Church, 900 Seventh St. Ext. (State Route 130), Trafford. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., and funeral services at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jared Parks officiating. Interment will follow in Jeannette Memorial Park, Penn Township. JOHN V.
