Mandy M. (Mulheren) Bennion, 36, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh, after a long, courageous battle with lupus. Born Dec. 6, 1982, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Lynn T. Mulheren and Barbara A. (Gewecke) Mulheren. Mandy was employed by Excela Health and one of her favorite pastimes was reading. She was an organ donor and gave the gift of life to help others after her passing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Cody William Bennion; and her father-in-law, Robert Lash. Mandy is survived by her husband, Jason W. Bennion, of Greensburg; one son, Rilee J. Bennion, of Greensburg; two sisters, Monica M. Leuthold and her husband, Jeff, of Greensburg, and Melissa Nace and her husband, Sam, of Ligonier; her mother-in-law, Rosemarie Paterchak, of South Carolina; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Services and interment are private.
