Robert H. Wilson, 85, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, April 15, 2021, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Howard L. and Margaret (Connery) Wilson. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as regional manager for Bearings Inc., of Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, where he volunteered counting money and helping at the fish fry. Robert was a veteran of the Air National Guard and was a proud Notre Dame graduate. Bob will be remembered for his gentle compassion and witty sense of humor. His family will miss him at the beach, around the card table, at the cookie station and so many other shared activities. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Wilson; a granddaughter, Theresa Lapek; a son-in-law, Jonathan Tidd; and a brother, William Wilson. Surviving is his beloved wife of 63 years, Barbara (Koontz) Wilson; five loving daughters, Pamela Lapek (Stanley), of North Huntingdon, Kelly Klein, of Bloomington, Ill., Patricia Wilson, of Roaming Shores, Ohio, Stacey Veto (Michael Zgurich), of North Huntingdon, and Jacqueline Tidd, of Moon Township; his adoring grandchildren, Meghan, Bob, Juliana, Jessica, Justin, Nicole and Cameron; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin. On the day of their 63rd wedding anniversary, April 19, 2021, parting prayers will be held at 9 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Bob's interment will take place at Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
