Mary Lou Hoosac

Mary Lou (Stewart) Hoosac, 56, of Brownsville, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009, in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1952, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Ernest Stewart and Marie Brown Stewart. Mary Lou was a 1970 graduate of Brownsville Area High School, had attended Douglas School of Business in Monessen and Dunlap's Creek Presbyterian Church in Merrittstown. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, John P. Hoosac; two brothers, Thomas Stewart and wife Rose Ann, of Monongahela, and Harley Stewart and wife Mary Lee, of Brownsville; two nieces, three great-nieces and three great-nephews; and an extended loving family and many special friends. Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 19 Legion St., Republic (724-246-9466), on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and Thursday, April 2, until 11 a.m., the hour of service with the Rev. Gail Mason officiating. Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
