Richard Behanna

Richard Behanna, 58, of Miami, Fla., died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, in the Miami Heart Institute, Miami, Fla. He was born July 9, 1944, a son of the late Richard and Delores Palfrey Behanna. He graduated from Rostraver High School in 1962. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include two sons, Scott Behanna and wife Bridget of Charleroi, and Todd Behanna of Madison, Wis.; one sister, Dianne Steiner and husband Dennis of Belle Vernon; three grandchildren, Chelsea, Garrett and Paige Behanna, all of Charleroi; one nephew, Denny Steiner and wife Michelle; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and long-time friend Tony Taylor and his family, all of Miami, Fla. In addition to his parents, Mr. Behanna was preceded in death by one nephew, Duane Shoman. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. at the Belle Vernon Cemetery Chapel.
