Tammy Lynn Woods, 46, of Monessen, formerly of Daisytown, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born Nov. 14, 1964, in Brownsville, daughter of Acie Woods, of Daisytown, and Debra Mills of Brownsville. She graduated from California High School and earned a degree in Hotel Management from Community College of Allegheny County. She was most recently employed in direct care through The Mentor Network until she became disabled, and had previously worked for Mayview State Hospital as a Kitchen Manager. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Daisytown, and had attended First Baptist Church in Donora. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her companion, Richard Bradley, of Monessen; two sons, Shawn N. Martin Jr. (Deanne), of Charleroi, and Quinton A. Martin Sr. (Shan), of Monessen; brothers, Mark Johnson (Angie), of Hiller, Pa., McArthur (Tina) Jackson, of Bentleyville, Acie McCoy, of Uniontown, and Keith Cushenbury (Nicole), of Monessen; sisters, Linnea (Maceo) Belt, of Uniontown, Dorothea (Jim) Jackson, of Daisytown, Chavone (Chris) Nelson, of Philadelphia, and Kayla Bradley, of Wilkinsburg; grandchildren, Alyssa Martin, Ashari Martin, Quinton Martin Jr., Damajae Martin and Damiya Martin; her stepmother, Donna Woods; her best friend, Julie Wallace Henderson, of Monessen; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, Dec. 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Daisytown, followed by a service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Leonard Tucker officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements by LAW FUNERAL HOME.
