Patricia E. Bair

Patricia E. Bair, 76, of Natrona Heights, died Wednesday, Sept 21, 2016, in Allegheny Valley Hospital Harrison Township. Born Aug. 1, 1940, in Tarentum, she was a daughter the late Louis Henry and Josephine Polczynski Bair and she lived all her life in the area. She graduated with a Master of Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1971 and served as a schoolteacher at Har-Brack and Highlands for 29 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish St. Ladislaus Worship Site. Patricia enjoyed sewing, crafts, ceramics, reading, photography and traveling. She was a member of Allegheny County School Retirees and the Pennsylvania Association of Retired Teachers. She was a member of NEA, PSEA and the HEA and the Indiana Alumni Association. For 10 years, she was the 5th Grade Level Chairman at Highlands School District. She was also a member of the AARP, volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She was a member of the Highland Senior Citizen Center, Tarentum. She is survived by her brother, Richard A. Bair, of Natrona Heights; sister, Rosemarie Moyer, of Chesapeake, Va.; one Niece and seven Nephews; and two great-nieces and eight great-nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Louis Henry Bair and Josephine Polczynski; brother, Louis W. Bair; and a niece, Janet.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept 25, 2016, in the KRYNICKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1007 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at St Joseph Parish, St. Ladislaus Church, Natrona, with the Rev. John Lendvai. Interment will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Harrison Township.
