Andrea (Kulick) Nigro, 31, of Wakefield, Mass., formerly of Gilpin Township, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, Mass. Born July 4, 1989, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Paul and Cindy Kulick, of Leechburg, and the late Carol (Fagen) Kulick. Andrea was a 2007 graduate of Leechburg High School, and in 2011 received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Gannon University.While at Gannon, Andrea was active in the Alpha Sigma Alpha social sorority. In 2013, Andrea obtained her master's degree in psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington, D.C. She worked as a mental health director for South Bay Mental Health Systems. Andrea was the most loving, caring and supportive person to everyone she knew. Her greatest passion was her family and she enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. Andrea also enjoyed traveling, cleaning, music, holidays and her little hedgehog, Pepper. She left an enormous imprint on this world with her generosity and caring nature that will carry on in everyone that she touched. In addition to her mother, Carol, Andrea was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Shaul; and her paternal grandparents, Stephen and Helen Kulick. Besides her parents Paul and Cindy, Andrea is survived by her husband, Dante Nigro; brother, Adam (Tara) Rearick, of Butler; father and mother-in-law, Giovanni and Raffaela Parrinello; brothers-in-law, Angelo (Ashley) Nigro, of Wakefield, Mass., Carmine (Demi) Nigro, of Peabody, Mass., Antonio and Gianmarco Parinello, of Wakefield, Mass.; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received in the CURRAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 300 Market St., Leechburg, Sunday, June 13, 2021, from 10 a.m. until the Celebration of Life tribute service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. With deepest and sincere sympathy, we are all so broken hearted over the passing of Andrea. Words can not express the sadness and ache we carry in our hearts.
