I remember a lady who baked the world's best cream puffs and buns.

A lady whose struggles never wiped the smile from her face.

An aunt who cared for my grandparents through their final years.

And so with the passing of my aunt, this aunt, we close the book on our family's "greatest generation".

Rest in peace, aunt Betty.

To my cousins Barbara and Charlie, my condolences.

John Beers
