Daniel Bouch Obituary

Daniel L. Bouch, 86, of Butler, loving husband and father, left us to join God and family that has gone before him Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at Butler Memorial Hospital. He was born Tuesday, May 9, 1922, in Brackenridge, the son of the late Ira Guy and Edna (Vennelle) Bouch. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Pollock Masonic Lodge No. 502, Tarentum. He was a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Horology and was a self-employed watchmaker for 30 years. He also had worked at Kenerdell Jewelry Store in Tarentum and Milo Williams in Butler. He was a member of Moraine Sportsman Club and was a hunter safety instructor. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, camping and sports cars. He was an Army veteran of World War II where he was a Sergeant and was in the South Pacific for five years. Surviving are his wife, Zelda M. (Cochran) Bouch, whom he married Sept. 22, 1950; a daughter, Beverly (Dale) Montag, of Butler; two sons, David (Elizabeth) Bouch, of Little Compton, R.I., and Brian L. Bouch, of Butler; grandchildren, Leah A., Tiffany L. and Kaitlyn M. Bouch and Luke P. and Mason Montag; a sister, Marjorie (Tom) Cochrane, of Stoney Point, N.Y.; and a brother, Doug Bouch, of California. He was preceded in death by two sisters; and three brothers. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the YOUNG FUNERAL HOME LTD., Butler, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with his pastor, the Rev. David Panther, officiating. Masonic services will be held at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at funeral home. Military honors at graveside. Interment in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
