David L. Stuckley Jr., of Tarentum, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, at the age of 76. He was the beloved husband of 52 years to the late Linda Stuckley, and loving mother of Chrissy (Shane) Pryal and Jamie (Stephen) Mitchell. He was a proud grandfather of Shane, Kendall, Emerson, Brady, Camryn and McKenna. "Davey" was the brother of Donna Stuckley and Bill Stuckley (who was also his best friend), and uncle to Jeff (Kelly) Stuckley, Amy Stokes (the late Dan Stokes), Billy Stuckley and the late Ron Stuckley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and David Stuckley. "Stuck" or "Mr. Stuck" was an admired and loved phys-ed teacher and coach at EDFRA, which was then Deer Lakes High School, from where he retired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to camp, watching Steelers games on Parsonage Street, and spending time with his family. All services are private. Dave was one of the first teachers I met when I joined the DL staff. I believe David also did driver education for awhile. He was kind & funny.

Dear Jamie and Family,

Mr. Stuckley was one of the greatest teachers to ever grace the halls of Deer Lakes High School. I never seen this man without a smile on his face. Sorry to here of his passing.

Sorry to hear of this. He was one of great teachers DL had. Always a smile and great attitude towards all his students. Even the ones he passed fishing at the park on his way in to school. Prayers to you Chrissy and your family.
