Naomi Diann Barlow, 74, passed away at her home in Harwick Friday, Feb. 26, 2021. Born Oct. 27, 1946, she was preceded in death by her parents, Guido J. Mercante and Anthonetta T. Mercante, of Harwick. On Jan. 29, 1966, Naomi married her childhood sweetheart, Robert Barlow. They were married for 55 years and enjoyed a wonderful marriage, sharing many precious memories together. Naomi is survived by her husband, Robert, and their three children, Aaron Guy Barlow and his wife, Cara, Micah Robert Barlow and his wife, Corrine, and daughter Leah Antonette Miles and her husband, Benjamin. Naomi is survived by three sisters, Nanette Sue Woitas and her husband, Charles, Nancy Jean Mercante and Nina Dawn Luera and her husband, Joseph. Naomi is also survived by several cousins, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, a great-grandniece and many beloved friends. Naomi loved crafts and was a talented card maker and artist. She also enjoyed collecting jewelry, vintage quilts, bedspreads and purses. She was an avid rock collector with a collection from all over the world. Naomi loved life and loved people. Most of all, Naomi loved reading and studying the Bible. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and one of her greatest joys was talking to others about the Bible and the hope found in it. She enjoyed studying the Bible with many people over the years. Naomi had a very full and happy life. Despite her declining health, Naomi continued to have a positive attitude. She and her husband found comfort in the future hope mentioned in the Bible. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heritage Hospice for the kind and personal care shown to Naomi. There will be a virtual memorial service on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 2 p.m. to reflect on Naomi's vibrant life and beautiful example.

First time I met her, she looked at me and said “we must be brother and sister”. A quick kinship was established. My sister of the heart. ❤
