Thomas J. Perine Jr. Obituary
Thomas J. Perine Jr., 67, of West Franklin Township, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, peacefully, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Tom was born Oct. 26, 1951, in Natrona Heights, a son of the late Norma Jean (Shick) and Thomas J. Perine Sr. Tom worked for 40 years at Moonlight and Creekside Mushroom. He started working for the company when he was in high school as a picker and worked his way up to a management position over his 40 years. Tom enjoyed farming, hunting, target shooting and spending time with his family. He was a longtime member of the NRA. Tom is survived by his daughter and son in law, Melissa and Scott Fazzino; and his two grandchildren, Sebastian and Emma Fazzino, all of South Buffalo Township. Thomas is also survived by his two brothers, Alan Perine and Donald "Weiner" Perine, both of Cabot; and two sisters, Maryann Lewis, of Florence, S.C., and Denise and Randy Graham, of Pensacola, Fla. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded by his brother, Charles Perine.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 High St., Freeport. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, in the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Andrew Spore, of Freeport United Methodist Church, officiating.
