Sharon Penhale was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary from March 2012 to April 2021. Her passion was
Americanism. She was also active and volunteered with the VFW #969 Auxiliary. Sharon was a great
baker and loved to share her baked goodies at the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Bake Sale. She will truly be
missed and thought of often.

Sincerely, Barbara Skinner, AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary #1 President

I met Sharon nearly nine years ago after joining AMVETS Post 1 as a member of "AMVETS Family". What a nice lady!! "Volunteering isn't about time, it's about heart" and "Sharon's" heartfelt commitment showed every time. I will miss her presence and her beautiful smile immensely at our post. Sincerely, Taryn Hopey, AMVETS Historian
