She also enjoyed her involvements in the Daughters of the Nile, JR League of Tacoma and Lillian Shotwell Orthopedic Guild. With all her children being athletes, she relished attending all of their sporting events. With children grown, she engaged in her cherished career as a travel agent with a cruising specialty. She aptly earned the name Cruise Queen while traveling all over the world often leading groups on their dream vacations. Upon retirement, she still loved traveling and entertaining, often at the Tacoma Yacht Club. Bev was often the life of the party as well as the organizer for any gatherings. She was preceded in death by her brother Donnie and husbands Jack Day, Chuck Randall and Ronald MacDonald. She will be sorely missed by family and dear friends as such a giving, generous, caring person and wonderful Mother.
