Gig Harbor, Washington - Born in Brooklyn, NY. Moved to Washington in 1975. Graduate of Peninsula H.S.
30-year employee of WA State, first at the State Library in Olympia, then a supervisor at the State Liquor Warehouse in Seattle.
He was an enthusiastic member of the Mopar Club with his bright red Dodge Challenger and an avid fisherman as well. (Best spot: Fox Island Pier).
Rich is survived by parents Doreen and Bill Wheeler, brother Ken and Gene Wheeler, sisters Carol Oxier and Janet Wheeler as well as his step-daughters Staci Smith and Holly Pratt.
