I grew up with the Young family during the 1960’s on McChord Air Force Base (Tacoma, WA). Miss Young was, and will always be, the essence of motherhood, friend and role model. My mother, Willie White and Willie Young had many a story on raising seven/eight kids as military wives. Not to mention sharing the same first name. Miss Young endured the loss of a husband and several of her children with grace and faith in her Lord. To the family, take comfort and embrace those sweet memories of your Mother— to know her was an honor.
